This is Texas

Actually, this is The Cove, a very cool little restaurant in San Antonio that I ate at last Tuesday. Amazing food. Just don’t get how the laundromat fits in.

  1. A classic example of focused cross-marketing.
This is obviously an area where couples can meet. Think about it – depressed single women will go there for the ice cream, sad single men who don’t want to cook at home will go there for the grill and they can both meet at the coin laundry.

And who says Detroit ain’t a romantic town?

could someone please tie a stone to david wilcock’s leg and send him to atlantis so he can meet up with adgar cayce. has anyone ever shaved a crop circle into buzz aldrin’s head? why does all his super geometry resemble spyrograph anuses? why is all of this secret knowledge being “held” in the los angeles hilton? does anyone recognize that the word Grill is perfectly placed between Ice Cream & Coin Laundry? it’s just like the symmetrical node between the two crop circle wheels that form the mayan calendar after the space ships bugger off! does anyone believe it was an accident that dave ate here? he must be somehow connected. come on people……wake up before you all get probed! 😯

San Antonio Texas, brother. Not the D. But your points are excellent. I can see a cross advertising possibility here: Match.com + Tide + Ben & Jerry’s

This kind of hybrid business exists in a lot of rural areas. I live in CT, but even here I grew up with a post office/barber shop and a gas station/fried chicken joint.

Depends who you are eating out πŸ˜›

  10. Best example of this that I saw was a bar/laundromat that was close to a university. Imagine being able to go to one spot to get loaded, do a load, and maybe even pick someone up and blow your load.

This is a good start although I would recommend adding a bait shop, check cashing center, video store and insurance office, in order to round out the needs of many of the locals.

Eeek. A humble apology to the motor town.

It was in Ottawa, somewhere close to Bank & 2nd. It’s been a decade or more since I’ve been in that area, so I don’t know if the place still exists or not.

Reminds me of the Laundry Chute in Pontiac, MI where you can do your laundry, buy a cell phone, get a piercing or a tattoo AND order a pizza. All in one place!
