   Just change the groundhog for a mole. Those little buggers won’t see shit and this will guarantee a string of short balmy winters. And if you can’t find a mole, Al Gore will do.

   I could never figure it out. If it’s a nice, warm, sunny day, the groundhog will see his shadow and that means more winter. If it’s a frickin’ blizzard; no sun, no shadow, winter is over. It should be the other way round, don’t you think? :wtf:
   Well, the GD GH predicted an early end to winter and we’re getting hit with a foot of snow in the next 24 hours. On Sunday, we’re rounding up a posse and goin’ to git ourselves some groundhog stew meat! Cheers! :java:

    I live driving distance from Punxsutawney PA but I’ve never been there. I think it’s funny that a joke that started before 1887 in a small Pennsylvania town could keep going and be internationally known.

    The Amish are actually comedians. They spend their lives laughing at the stupid English. And feeling sorry for us. Just look at the money they don’t spend on clothes, bling, and fancy stuff. Instead they live with hand-build homes, quilts, and furniture, home cooked meals. And neighbors they trust.

    BTW, what time period did you say that traveled from?
