   Hooooey, he blowed it up real good! Cheap ass wimpy British armament. One round into a crappy Yugo and it’s left intact. One round from a Sherman (U.S.)tank would have decimated that piece of junk.

   Ah, the Yugo. I recall fondly the Yugo movie. Do you recall? Bette Midler had the title role in ‘Drowning Mona’, with Danny DeVito and Casey Affleck, Jamie Lee Curtis. A delightful little B type movie. Part of the setup is the town of Verplank, NY begin chosen for a Yugo test area .. there are only a couple of vehicles in the movie that are not Yugos – like one Pickup and a tow truck. “Mona Dearly is dead, now the fun begins..” Bette asks the eternal question, “Life just handed me a big pile of shit, now what am I supposed to make of that?” to which her husband in the flick replies, “Shit salad?” “Oh, just shut up, all of ya’s.” Delightful. They play the Wheel of Fortune board game for hanky panky. Will Ferrell plays Cubby the funeral director. They use Yugo’s for junked almost-running cars to police cars. A very versatile automobile!

   MOONBM – This is a gal in college. Her mother shares her taped TV shows, including her favorite Night Court. The lady with the car had just viewed her heroine Markie Post hanging out the window, yelling. “Look at me, New York!” MOONBM — Mooned By Me!

   Every time I hear the phrase “earth is fucked” (due to pollution, global warming, that one nuke that’ll ‘acidentally’ go off and do away with us all, alien invasion and domination, etc) I’m gonna imagine earths orifices being invaded by many many little men in white hard hats having been delivered there by way of much larger transport vehicle, traveling deeper and deeper in desperate search of earths treasures… :wtf:
