    It is noon and I’m terrified!
    I have had a custom tattoo design in progress for years now from some of my own artwork and it’s ready! 😆 (years because it’s for life, I had to be absolutely certain it would be perfect) I’m extatic (sp?)!! I’m going right after work, so at about 5pm this adrenalin rush will either have knocked me out or driven me crazy! :dead: 😀
    When my father passed away I made some changes to the design to incorporate what he loved the most, an eagle. It is set on the upper portion representing him and his everpresent spirit in my heart/life. It was the final touch and I’m ready…kinda…I’m scared…but excited!
    I’ve also been designing one for my brother with the same idea. I feel very good about it. My brother is only 15 years old so it gives me some time to perfect it and gather some money afterward, it’ll be his 18 birthday present. We are very similar in many extremely subtle ways that even those around us cannot understand and I know he’ll love it too.
    I don’t feel awful about my fathers death, it hurts, I miss him but I’m at ease. 😆
    …and my tattoo today! A design that means so much to me…I can’t even think straight! I’m so excited!

    And, if it’s ok with Dave, I will send him pics of the final work so you all can see! Wish me luck…I hope I don’t pass out or cry. 😀

    Ok, ok! I ‘ve sent Dave some pictures. I Love It! It was definitely worth waiting for and I didn’t pass out or cry! I’m not gonna lie, it did hurt but it wasn’t as bad as I thought it’d be. It was more irritating that sharp pain. The tattoo artist is Steve Jaramillo from Valley Tattoo, Los Lunas, NM. He did a great job!
    It took two and a half hours. Today it feels sore. Like I scraped my back and its tender but overall I feel great about it! 😆
