Illustration is an act of interpretation. Where words become visual narratives. My work is rooted in myth and folklore while finding meaning in the present. I’m drawn to concepts that carry emotional weight, story tension, and a sense of timelessness.
I think an illustration works if it goes beyond grabbing attention. It needs to explain. Color, form, and symbolism aren’t aesthetic decisions alone. For me, they’re narrative instruments. I love to make images that either place the viewer in the middle of the action, or leave you wondering what’s about to happen next.
