My very first commercial art project? Illustrating a university biology book. I was 16 years old and hooked.
Book design is where my illustrator brain and my story-obsessed mind agree to play nice. It’s the part of my work where story, structure, and visual rhythm are formed into a creation that feels intentional and harmonious.
I love to illustrate book covers, play with typography, and make all the little design decisions that make a reader feel like they’ve stepped into another world. Book design lets me blend craft with vibe, turning manuscripts into a livre d’artiste that someone wants to hold, display, and maybe even read instead of doomscrolling.

EVERYTHING EXCEPT EDITING
I did the cover, interior illustrations, and wrote the book! This was my first book and I was glad to see it realized by a large publisher.

EVERYTHING EXCEPT EDITING
I wrote and created my own tarot deck (my COVID project)! After 900 hours of illustration, the editor said, “You need to write the guidebook!”

COVER + SPOT ILLUSTRATIONS
I was commissioned to create the cover, and mentioned that the book would look great with vintage style spot illustrations. I did 15.

SPOT ILLUSTRATIONS
I have done packaging, label, and booklet design for Coventry Creations for several years across multiple product lines.

COVER ILLUSTRATION
While I had no control over the typography and coloring, the ink drawing was fun to do for this unusual book that takes the “threat” of goblins a little too seriously.

MAGAZINE SPREAD
A series of UFO-inspired illustrations in a magazine spread for the upscale Hong Kong publication HK Milk.
